GLS Departments: a historical perspective
(1996 – 2006)

The attached table provides an overview of the GLS – giving a breakdown of the departments which have made up the GLS over this period and the number of lawyers in each Department.

It is important to note that the structure of the GLS has undergone a considerable amount of change over the last 10 years - with some departments merging, new departments joining and others giving up their membership of the GLS.

Please note that these statistics have been compiled by the GLS Secretariat using the information provided by the respective departments.
