Screen Resolution

The GLS website has been designed for screen resolutions of
800 x 600 or higher.

Basic Navigation

The main universal links on the website will display in every page. These universal links are split into three sections. At the very top of each screen in the top right-hand corner you will find links to ‘Home’, ‘Contact Us’, ‘Sitemap’, ‘Accessibility’ and ‘External Links’. Moving down the screen you will find links to the four main sections of the GLS website, these are, ‘About the GLS’, ‘Benefits of Working for the GLS’, ‘Lawyer Recruitment’ and ‘Graduate Recruitment’. When you click on any of these four main sections you will notice that the menu bar down the left-hand side of the screen changes accordingly, this menu bar will give you access to the individual pages within each of the four sections. In addition, whatever page you are viewing, at the very top of the body text you will find a navigation bar which shows exactly where you are within the site with links to the homepage, section, subsection and page you have navigated through. Finally there are four ancillary links at the bottom of every page, these are, ‘Feedback’, ‘Crown Copyright’, ‘Privacy’ and ‘Terms and Conditions’.

The GLS website utilises "Access-Key" technology within its HTML coding. If you are using a Microsoft browser, you can press the 'Alt' key in combination with the following to navigate throughout the main pages of this website:

We have designed the GLS website to be as accessible as possible. The website is coded using valid HTML 4.01 Transitional and conforms to W3C Accessibility Conformance Level "A".
