To encourage you to make the best of life outside work, many Government Departments offer a range of sports and social facilities. Some provide gyms or access to a gym, and many have organised clubs and events. The Civil Service Sports and Social Club offers an exciting range of activities and facilities – you can join it at any time at a cost of £2.60 per month. In the London area, these activities cover everything from ten pin bowling to horse racing or aviation, and a similar range of activity exists outside the capital.
