Guaranteed Interview Scheme

The Government Legal Service has signed up to the Positive about Disabled People Commitment and will guarantee an interview to any disabled applicant who meets the minimum criteria. For the purposes of this competition, the minimum criteria are deemed to be:

- Compliance with all aspects of the academic and nationality eligibility criteria

- A pass mark in the online verbal reasoning test

- A pass mark in the answer to the written exercise on the application form.

Candidates who achieve a pass in both exercises will be invited to attend the Assessment Centre.

To be eligible for the Guaranteed Interview Scheme, you must have a disability or long-term health condition which puts you at a significant disadvantage in either keeping or obtaining jobs. The disability could be physical, sensory or mental and must be expected to last at least twelve months. You do not have to be registered as a disabled person to apply under this scheme.

Candidates applying under the Guaranteed Interview Scheme are asked to state in the Application Form any adjustments they will require at the Assessment Centre.
