Selection Process

· You must submit your application form before the competition deadline.

· If you meet the minimum academic and nationality criteria you will be invited to sit an online verbal reasoning test.

· Please note that this test forms part of the assessment process. Candidates who have not taken the test by the deadline date will be regarded as having withdrawn from the competition.

· The applications forms of those candidates who pass the online test will be assessed against the GLS sift criteria.

· The highest scoring candidates at the sift will be invited to attend a one-day familiarisation buffet lunch shortly before the assessment centre

· The buffet lunch is not part of the selection process but will offer the opportunity to meet fellow candidates and lawyers in the recruiting departments; and to find out more about the processes involved on the assessment day.

· The assessment centre will be held in London and generally takes half a day. You will be assessed in three exercises – written, group and interview.

All candidates will be informed of the outcome within one week of the last day of assessment centre.

See our graduate calendar page for further information of the timetable.
