The broad structure of a GLS training contract or pupillage is similar to that elsewhere. The nature of the work you will undertake during the training period and the level of responsibility you will be given is very different and beyond comparison. As a valued member of your legal team, you'll be fully involved in a broad range of work. You'll have an active role to play in your department's casework. You'll liaise with senior policy makers, Ministers and counsel. And you'll have the opportunity to participate in the legislative process itself. The profiles below with just some

of what to expect.
